Thick frame
A multicolor image framed with a "Thick" border.

Thin frame
The light gray area is framed with a "Thin" mid gray border.

Am 3. November 2005:

Download hier.

On November 3rd, 2005:

I reworked modifier FrameClip completely. Now the frames it produces are equally thick on all edges (left and right were thicker before) and you can choose between "thick" (2 pixels) and "thin" (1 pixel). "Full" and "Clip" determine which area of the image the modifier applies to.

2005-10-27: Latest Update of "Tiny GoDot" - the one GoDot disk
(see bottom of this page)

Many colors per card... ...11 colors where the mouse points to.
Mod..Howmany shows you the number of colors in a block. See this output.

On October 16th, 2005:

Three more updates:

To the first one - mod.Scroll - I added (like I did with other modules before, see Archive 2004) the possibility to use GoDot's preview function. Thus you can check whether you affected the image correctly.

Unfortunately, mod..Howmany wasn't too useful up to now. You could indeed view the number of differently colored pixels per one card, but there was no way to countercheck the graphics itself. This drawback is remedied. You toggle between display and graphics per mouse click and leave per STOP key.

Really many changes have been applied to mod..ColorCount. The output of this module could be misleading or even wrong! Now you can see how many colors an image contains, separated into GoDot counting (True Hires, each pixel may carry an individual color), plain Multicolor (even colored double pixels), and into IFLI colors (which is a graphic mode capable of up to 120 pseudo colors plus the original 16).

Am 16. Oktober 2005:

Drei weitere Updates:

mod.ClipWorks (de/en)
mod.Histogram (de/en)
mod.PixelEdit (de/en)
mod.TurnClip (de/en)
mod.TurnScreen (de/en)

Download der Updates hier.

On October 5th, 2005:

I have updated a whole series of modules. In the course of working on a new project (will soon be published here) I finally found the reason why displaying graphics from a module which was started directly from an REU without previously loading it didn't work correctly. That bug is fixed now. You should replace the five modules listed above (if you use an REU).

Update des Koala-Laders! Ich habe ihn unglaublicherweise beim Bugfixing aller Multicolor-Module GoDots 1998 vergessen...!

2005-08-07: Updated! "Tiny GoDot" - the one GoDot disk
(see bottom of this page)

Am 27. Juli 2005

Cool, was? Zum Download hierhin.

On July 27th, 2005

Let's make it a bundle, let's be clever. So, additionally to the IFLI loader - especially for XRay64 (see July 8th, 2005) - here is the related saver, svr.XRay64. Some of you could frown and say: What is it good for, XRay itself isn't even able to load this format, far from any other (PC or C64) program. Simple and unbeatable answer: an XRay image has an IFLI display routine included, you can watch it without any further arrangement! Cool, eh? To download go here

On July 8th, 2005

Here's another update for one of GoDot's loaders. We have one for IFLI formats (like Funpainter 2 and Gunpaint), which probably anybody  perceived ever. Perhaps because of its name of "ldr.IFLIprep4PCX"... ;-) It's called simply "ldr.IFLI" from now on, and it recognizes one more format, which is the executable IFLI of the PC based conversion tool "XRay64". Now - I think - we have the most important IFLI formats represented in this loader. If anybody knows another spreaded format: please call in! Download from here

Am 8. Juli 2005

January 30, 2005:

This time I present a new saver: svr.OCPArtStudio. You can choose to either save in hires mode (and it will automatically add ".art" as a suffix) or multicolor mode (which has a suffix of ".ocp"). Since OCP is a standard C64 format, you have to render the image once to  the wanted mode before saving it to disk (like is the case with all standard format savers).

There's a specialty with this saver: This hires OCP data format is also the WiNGs wallpaper format for WiNGs desktop background images! In WiNGs these images must have a suffix of ".hbm", and therefore you can overwrite the automatic suffix of GoDot with an own  suffix, like e.g. ".hbm". In this way, WiNGs users have access to the whole world of graphics via GoDot! Have fun!
